PURPOSE
The purpose of this standard is to determine the resistance of elastomers to aging by the measurement of properties of the elastomer before and after accelerated aging.
Whilst the use of an accelerated aging test allows certain conclusions to be made, it should be noted that it will not necessarily agree with the result of natural aging.
