This standard applies to alternators for 12V gasoline engine (with IC regulator) and those for diesel engines with an vacuum pump. When this standard is at odds with that of drawing, the latter prevails.
PURPOSE
This standard applies to alternating current generators (hereinafter called "alternator") to be used for GMDAT and aims at helping test personnel easily grasp and correctly conduct alternator test.
