This method covers the determination of the solid density of combined coarse and fine road aggregate particles passing a 19.0 mm test sieve. Care is required with porous aggregates to ensure that representative values are measured.
NOTE - A similar test method for soils is included in NZS 4402 as Test 2.7.1. The two methods are essentially the same.
