Foreword
This draft amendment to the European Standard EN 60745-2-8:2003 was prepared by the Technical Committee CENELEC TC 61F, Safety of hand-held and transportable motor-operated electric tools. It is submitted to the CENELEC formal vote.
This amendment is proposed to extend Annex ZZ to include the new MD 2006/42/EC.
This proposal should not be ratified until EN
60745-1:2006/FprAC:2
After ratification, this amendment shall be merged with the existing Standard EN 60745-2-8:2003 and its amendments A11:2007 & A1:200X and published as a new edition of EN 60745-2-8, so that it may be listed in the OJEC as supporting the 'new' MD (2006/42/EC).
