scope:
For testing the fluid resistance of metallic, plastics, elastomers, inorganic and organic coatings, self adhesive films etc., which in service, are likely to come into contact with petroleum based fluids containing alcohol. The test fluids designed to have similar effects on these materials as service fluids.
PURPOSE
The specification specifies methods of manufacturing the mixture of toluene, iso-octane, di-isobutylene, ethanol and methanol.
