This material specification covers the general requirements for moulded parts made from a semihard polyether type polyurethane foam, which forms, through the use of special processing and tooling techniques, a virtually impermeable skin, which generally requires no additional finishing. The process is commonly known as the integral skin process, Such components generally contain metal or plastic reinforcements.
