This guide specification covers the requirements for the Pump Control and Annunciation System for aircraft refueling systems constructed to the requirements of the DOD Type IV or V Direct Aircraft Refueling System Standards. DoD Type III systems shall conform to Standard Design 078-24-28 PRESSURIZED HYDRANT FUELING SYSTEM (TYPE III). DoD Type IV/V systems shall conform to Standard Design 078-24-29 AIRCRAFT DIRECT FUELING SYSTEM (TYPE IV) DESIGN
