This specification covers the physical and chemical properties for a modified ISO grade 46 hydraulic fluid suitable for use in Ross and Sheppard power steering systems.
Restricted Chemical Substances
Effective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of the CEMS B-50 specification.
APPLICATION
This specification covers a power steering fluid used for factory fill in medium duty trucks and school buses that use Ross and Sheppard steering systems (Navistar Bulk P/N 2643472R1). Note: Heavy duty and severe service vehicles use Shell Rotella 15W-40 engine oil (Navistar Bulk P/N 3814727R1) per CEMS B-21.
