Organization: JEDEC
Publication Date: 1 April 1976
Status: active
Page Count: 14
scope:

This Standard gives the system for numbering like-named electrodes or terminal functions in semiconductor devices and for assigning numerical designations to unite of multiple-unit semiconductor devices. It applies to both integrated circuits and discrete devices.

The examples are intended only to identify terminal functions and not to indicate any preferred function for the specific terminals. In the case of integrated circuits, it is not the intent of this Standard to specify the alphabetical characters or signal names associated with particular functions.
