As a matter of information, and for the guidance of manufacturers and users who may require these data, this bulletin gives minimum performance properties on proposed high-strength casing joints, as developed by the API Committee on Standardization of Oil Country Tubular Goods, in the course of a study of internal-upset casing sizes and related data.

At the 26th annual meeting of the American Petroleum Institute, Chicago, Illinois, Nov,, 1946, the committee authorized publication of the data herein as an informational bulletin (not as an API standard).
