GENERAL
The removal of catalyst from reactors in refineries cannot always be accomplished by going through a regeneration cycle prior to the removal. In some cases the catalyst is removed while an inert atmosphere (usually nitrogen) is maintained in the reactor. This data sheet cutlines the precautions that should be taken to enable men to work inside a reactor having such an atmosphere
