High visibility clothing for going on or near the track

scope:
This Standard applies to all staff, whether LU, Infraco/PFI staff or contractors who must wear high visibility clothing, when going on or near the track, except in the following circumstances:
a) Station staff undertaking platform duties, gateline or other duties around the station;
b) Bill posters and vending machine operators on the public areas of platforms (all other contractors must wear LU high visibility clothing as specified in this Standard);
c) Train Operators, whilst driving a train;
d) Depot/train staff walking on access routes where track certification is not required.
Purpose
The purpose of this Standard is to set out the requirement for all staff going on or near the track to wear high visibility clothing. This must be to the LU approved standard, so that they are visible at all times.
