This Standard applies to the following elements:

a) The mechanics and basis for changing a Category 2 Standard.

b) The mechanics by which new Category 2 Standards requirements are produced and developed.

c) The mechanics for regrading a Category 2 Standard requirement to another category or withdrawing the Standard altogether.

d) The communication requirements that a Supplier shall initiate in respect of proposed changes to Category 2 Standards.

This Standard does not detail the local Supplier arrangements necessary to achieve compliance with the requirements of this Standard.

The requirements of this Standard are applicable to all Category 2 Standards and therefore will provide an effective, consistent and interactive approach across all Suppliers and other materially affected parties.

A Mixed Category Standard shall, for the purposes of this Standard, have the status of a Category 2 Standard upon its withdrawal by LUL as a Mixed Category Standard.

Purpose 

The purpose of this Standard is to defines the procedural requirements for creating, changing, regrading or withdrawing Category 2 Standards, which are owned and managed by Infraco which may have the potential to impact upon LUL.

It also sets out the process and criteria for the granting or refusal of applications for Concessions from Category 2 Standards requirements.
