scope:
Purpose. To establish policy, assign responsibilities, and prescribe procedures for establishing and operating family readiness groups (FRGs). This instruction is a complete revision and should be reviewed in its entirety.
Applicability. Navy commands and units with Sailors and families assigned who are impacted by deployments and other periods of family separation.
