Purpose of This Notice. This notice provides guidance to aviation safety inspectors (ASI) (Maintenance and Avionics) for advising maintenance providers on the use of manufacturer's blueprints, and parts produced outside the requirements of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 21 subpart K when performing maintenance and/or alteration.
