This manual, prepared by the Committee on Safety m Drilling and Production Operations, of the Central Committee on Accident Prevention, is the first revision of API Accident-Prevention Manual No 10 ''Rotary Drilling," published in 1937. Considerably expanded to include the latest information on safe drilling practices, the manual is an attempt to provide, for members of drilling crews, information which will make it possible for them to avoid many costly mistakes which have contributed to the all-too-frequent injuries attendant upon drilling
