This commercial item description covers a commercial wildland fire truck. It shall have a 4×4 chassis with a diesel engine, an automatic transmission, and a five person cab with four doors. The wildland fire truck shall have a mounted utility body, containing a modular agent and delivery system, as well as fire fighting tools and equipment. When specified (see 6.2), the truck shall be equipped with a compressed air foam system (CAFS). The wildland fire truck is intended to combat wildland and brush type fires.
