The terms and definitions defined in this Standard are applicable to fire tests for electro technical products.
It is recommended to make use of basic safety publications in accordance with JIS Z 8051 and IEC Guide 104 in the preparation of product safety standards.
NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
IEC 60695-4: 2005 Fire hazard testing-Part 4: Terminology concerning fire tests for electrotechnical products (IDT)
In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ IEC Guide 21-1.
