scope:

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies general matters of method of inspecting the manufactured precast concrete products (hereafter referred to as "products"). However, this Standard shall not be applied to individual concrete products for buildings which are specified in separate Japanese Industrial Standards.

NOTE: In this Standard, "type inspection" is not mentioned. The type inspection, in the case of a product, is a procedure of confirming and verifying the conformance of the design or specification of a product with the related requirements, after the design or specification has been determined so as to satisfy the required performance, which is performed prior to repetitive manufacturing. This Standard deals with an inspection of products manufactured in the repetitive manufacturing, i.e. after the repetitive manufacturing had already started.
