The fifth edition of The Dimensions of Parking is a result of a 30-year, collaborative effort between the Urban Land Institute and the National Parking Association. Topics covered include parking studies and demand; zoning requirements; financial feasibility and financing; parking geometrics; wayfinding; safety, security, and secure design; lighting; building codes; operations and management; and maintenance. Highlights of the new edition include all new chapters on programming and conceptual design, the architecture of parking, sustainable design, budgeting and financial analysis, project delivery, and more. The new hardcover format has color photographs throughout.
