This ITE informational report, Pavement Marking Patterns Used at Uncontrolled Pedestrian Crossings, presents the responses from a survey related to the pavement markings used at pedestrian crosswalks. The report provides summaries and diagrams of states' and selected cities' guidance material laid out in an easy to use spreadsheet. Extensive research was done to find and compile information on nearly all 50 states, as well as three Canadian provinces.
