This specification covers the properties of "an integrally colored, weather resistant, flexible, Shore D 37 + 3 hardness, poly(vinyl chloride) homopolymer pellet form, extrusion molding compound.

NOTE: This GMP specification does not indicate color, gloss or finish requirements. Those requirements will be indicated on the engineering drawing. The General Motors and/or divisional approved compound list will indicate the color and gloss of each approved compound.

Paintability. Approved paint systems that can be used on this material are listed in the GM Approved Paint On Plastic Systems (GM APOPS) data base.

Applications. Typical applications include the following: Body side moldings, window lace, profile extrusions.
