It details the responsibilities of the different activities involved in providing safe and efficient protection for a possession.
This book covers the principles associated with protecting a possession. It gives details of:
• how to get permission to take and give up the possession
• how to define the possession limits
• how to implement and remove the protection
• how to pass engineer's trains into, through and out of a possession
• how to move a mechanised vehicle into and out of a possession
• the special traction current arrangements, isolations and short circuits.
This book gives the steps that need to be followed to safely implement the protection.
