scope:
PURPOSE. To enhance Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) capabilities that support Coast Guard's missions and business functions outlined in Reference (a), this Directive identifies the authority, roles, and responsibilities governing sustainment management for C5I systems. This policy also provides high-level guidance to comply with References (b) through (l). Additionally, this policy reaffirms the authority and responsibility for the Assistant Commandant (CG-6) to publish Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) policy, procedures and C5I Program Management Office (PMO) guidelines.
