|Publication Date:||1 September 2018|
This guidance applies to all LU revenue control staff whilst working on board a train in the very extreme circumstance of firearms or bladed weapons actually being used to cause mass casualties or an imminent threat to life on a train in service.
This guidance does not apply to the relatively frequent reports of:
- Passengers who may have been carrying a gun or knife etc. or
- Solitary people being threatened with a firearm or knife etc.
This guidance document describes the actions that should be taken by London Underground (LU) Revenue Control staff in the event of an 'Active shooter' or 'Bladed weapon' attack whilst working on board a train.
