This manual provides the procedures and organizational templates for DoD Components responding to accidents involving U.S. nuclear weapons. The additional information and resources pertaining to nuclear weapon accidents listed in section 9 of this enclosure can be found at the NARP supplement Website at http://www.acq.osd.mil/ncbdp/narp. Section 5 of this enclosure summarizes the procedures used in the event of a nuclear weapon incident where the cause has yet to be determined or is known to be the result of a hostile act.
