This Standard specifies the measurement method for the spontaneous potential and the corrosion generation potential of stainless steel tube fittings of 60.5 mm or under in outside diameter. It describes mainly the mechanical fittings; however, it is also applicable to the weld fittings, threaded fittings, flange type fittings and the like.
