Dieser Teil von ISO 20783 legt ein Verfahren zur Begutachtung der Stabilität von Emulsionen von Flüssigkeiten der Kategorie HFAE, wie in ISO 6743-4 festgelegt, fest. Für die Herstellung der Emulsionen wird Wasser mit genau festgelegten Salzkonzentrationen verwendet. Dieses Verfahren gilt nur für HFAE-Flüssigkeiten und nicht für HFAS-Flüssigkeiten.
