In diesem Teil der ISO 1833 wird ein Verfahren mit Phenol und Tetrachlorethan zur Bestimmung des prozentualen Anteils an Polyester, nach dem Abtrennen der nichtfaserigen Begleitstoffe, in Textilien aus binären Mischungen bestimmter Polyesterfasern mit Acryl-, Polypropylen- oder Aramidfasern festgelegt.
Dieses Verfahren gilt nicht für beschichtete Flächengebilde.
