The Standard specifies three methods for determining the dec rease in counterforce exerted by a ringshaped test piece of vulcanized rubber which has been compressed to a constant de formation and maintained thus at a predetermined test temper ature. The methods are particularly suitable for the determi nation of stress relaxation in liquid environments.
