Introduction
The purpose of this pack is to assist Line Managers with Awareness Briefings, which are designed to provide a brief overview of the standard or changes to the standard.
This pack does not provide sufficient detail for Technical Briefings, which are planned and delivered through the relevant working group as a separate exercise.
Line Managers may customise this pack by following the guidance on page 5 and by adding or deleting relevant slides from the pack.
Where standards are of a particular interest to a member of staff, they may seek further information by referring to the standard or its briefing note at the back of the standard.
NOTES
Where a member of staff identifies the need to receive a technical brief which has not been planned, this can be requested through the person named as the Working Group Chair on the front cover of the standard.
This pack does not contain any Railway Group Standards changes; these are communicated through a separate report issued from the RSSB.
