scope:

The design and installation of plumbing systems, including sanitary and storm drainage, sanitary facilities, medical gas systems, water supplies, and storm water and sewage disposal in buildings, shall comply with the requirements of the code. The design and installation of gas piping, chilled water piping in connection with refrigeration process and comfort cooling, and hotwater piping in connection with building heating systems shall conform to the Michigan mechanical code. The design and installation of all fire sprinkler systems and standpipe systems shall conform to the Michigan building code. Water and drainage connections to such installations shall be made in accordance with the requirements of the code.
