This method is applicable to the determination of didecyldimethylammonium chloride (DDAC) and alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride (BAC) in ACQ solutions by titration using sodium tetraphenylboron as titrant and 2',7'-dichlorofluorescein as a color indicator. For ACQ concentrates a suitable dilution before the analysis is required. In the case of alkaline ACQ solutions, the solution should be first neutralized. The end point of the titration will be indicated by a solution color change from purple-pink to lemon-green.
