scope:
1. Scope
1.1 This practice describes techniques for planning, conducting, analyzing, and interpreting the results of an interlaboratory study of an analytical method. The procedures described in this practice have the limited purposes of providing reliable information on which meaningful statements can be made about the repeatability, reproducibility, and accuracy of a chemical method for the analysis of metals.
