This Standard specifies the requirements for metric threaded fasteners and associated items for use in aerospace applications, with the exception of aero-engines, aero-engines accessories and associated electrical equipment.
It also includes the manufacturing, qualification, and quality assurance requirements for certain threaded fasteners for use against MOD(PE) related contracts.
