Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zum Aufschluss von metallischen Bedarfsgegenständen mit Körperkontakt, (z. B. Schmuckwaren, Ohrstecker, Piercingartikel, Armbanduhren, Accessoires an Bekleidung) zur nachfolgenden Bestimmung von Blei und Cadmium fest.
Das Verfahren beschränkt sich auf die metallischen Anteile, die in der verwendeten Säure löslich sind. Für Blei können je nach Probeneinwaage Massenanteile (ω) mindestens ab 0,01 % (100 mg/kg), für Cadmium Massenanteile (ω) mindestens ab 0,002 % (20 mg/kg) erfasst werden.
