The affected micro-switch assemblies can be found in MPSs, on pallets of equipment at manufacturers yards and in complete new and replacement lock body mechanisms or as replacement switch assemblies.

Purpose

This notice board highlights non-standard nuts fitted to Clamp-Lock Micro-Switch Assemblies manufactured between May and November 2018, with potential impact on Mk1, 2 & 3.

These non-standard nuts can cause damage to terminals and result in un-reliable electrical connections and detection at the defined termination torque.
