This Standard specifies fittings for glass fibre reinforced polyethylene pipe systems which are laid underground and used mainly for transport of liquid materials such as water.

The glass fibre reinforced polyethylene pipe systems are used mainly in the following applications:

agricultural water;

power generation facility;

water treatment facility;

sewage facility;

chemical plant.
