Purpose.
This AFI provides higher headquarters staffs, installations and unit commanders with the guidance, structure, roles and responsibilities to execute DSCA planning, response operations and support to designated agencies when requested by civil authorities and other qualifying entities and approved by appropriate DOD officials, or as directed by the President.
