scope:

This competence standard applies in circumstances where any person is required to take and relinquish responsibility for DC CRE on Network Rail controlled infrastructure. The competence includes safety, testing and commissioning, marking out sites of work and handback of DC CRE. 

Purpose

The purpose of this competence standard is to define the competence requirements for persons required for the effective progression of work and assets during DC Conductor Rail Equipment (CRE) maintenance or renewal activities. The person is most likely to be in a Team Leader role.
