This procedure applies to managers who are responsible for operational locations. This process covers any role responsible for the supervision or operation of signalling equipment, level crossing equipment and electrical control equipment. 

Requests for updated job evaluation or operational grade changes are not within the scope of this procedure.  

PURPOSE

The purpose of this standard is to effectively manage the risk of operator error due to workload arising from changes in operational demand. This will be delivered through a consistent set of criteria to conduct an appropriate workload assessment.
