This standard provides requirements for all phases of the manufacturing, processing, blending, conveying, repackaging, and handling of combustible dusts and particulate solids or hybrid mixtures, regardless of concentration or particle size, where the materials present a fire, a flash fire, or an explosion hazard.

This standard includes specific requirements for additive manufacturing.

The owner/operator shall be responsible for implementing the requirements in this standard.
