Purpose.

This TTP describes AEOT (UTC: FFQNT) capabilities and its deployment, employment, and redeployment in support of Aerospace Expeditionary Forces (AEF), Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief (HA/DR), Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA), and other Aeromedical Evacuation (AE) scenarios across the spectrum of military operations.

This document: (a) identifies and defines responsibilities; (b) describes command relationships; (c) reviews general planning considerations; (d) ensures tasks, functions, and responsibilities are properly assigned; (e) describes AS, equipment, and resources available to support global AE operations; (f) provides a source document for developing standard operating instructions (OIs), and training programs; and (g) identifies training requirements and available AEOT training platforms/programs.

Information in this TTP should be tailored and augmented with additional information found in related AE instructions, publications, TTPs, Technical Orders (TOs), Operation Plans (OPLANs), Special Instructions (SPINS), Flight Crew Information Files (FCIF), Read Files and other theater directives/instructions.
