This specification covers the performance, production, and testing requirements for Remote Switching Control units C-7594( )/U and C-7595( )/U for use with shipboard secure voice communications systems.
The control units shall be of the following types, as specified:
Type I - For use with surface ships. Provides programming capability for nine telephone sets and five channels. Type II - For use with small craft. Provides programming capability for three telephone sets and three channels.
