1. Scope

1.1 This guide describes the use of single and multi-component, cold-applied joint sealants for parallel joint sealing applications in buildings and related adjacent areas, such as plazas, decks, and pavements for vehicular or pedestrian use, and types of construction other than highways and airfield pavements and bridges.

1.2 The elastomeric or non-elastomeric sealants described by this guide meet the requirements of Specifications C 834, C 920, and C 1085.

1.3 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard, The values given in parentheses are provided for information only.
