This specification covers the design, development, performance, and test requirements for the Antenna Group, OE-415(V)/SRC, hereinafter referred to as the antenna group. The antenna group is a nominal 11-meter (m) (35-foot (ft)) twin-whip configuration with matching network enclosure. The antenna group can be impedance matched to provide broadband frequency coverage in the 4-megahertz (MHz) to 12-MHz range for high frequency (HF) shipboard transmitting systems.

intended Use:

The antenna group covered by this specification is intended for shipboard use as a part of the communications antenna groups utilized in the DDG-51 Class guided missile destroyer.
