Application

This tubing has been used typically for parts, such as high pressure hydraulic systems up to 3000 psi (20.7 MPa), requiring corrosion and heat resistance up to 700 °F (371 °C), but usage is not limited to such applications.

Classification

Tubing covered by this specification is classified as follows:

Type 1 - Seamless and drawn

Type 2 - Welded and drawn

Unless a specific type is ordered, either Type 1 or Type 2 may be supplied.
