The Technical Manual (TM) Validation Certificate provides the Government program manager with assurance that the contractor has satisfactorily validated the TM in accordance with the requirements of the contract, Technical Manual Contract Requirement (TMCR), and approved Validation Plan (when applicable). The Certificate is the contractor's certification that the TM product is accurate and complete and when applicable, provides an indicator when some portion of the validation could not be accomplished.

This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instruction for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.

The following DID should be considered when the TM Validation Certificate is being procured: DI-TMSS-81818, TM Validation Plan.
