Sie ermöglicht es, wesentliche Anforderungen an wichtige Bauteile des Gurtförderers wie Antriebs-, Brems- und Gurtspanneinrichtungen in Abhängigkeit von der gestellten Förderaufgabe zu bestimmen, und beschreibt einen Weg für die Auslegung des Fördergurtes.
