This standard applies to measuring deposit formation tendency of engine oil through simulation of the case in which engine oil used for vehicles is stationed under the moisture-present condition and then activated for short time driving.
PURPOSE
This standard aims at standardizing the engine oil filterability test method, which is to measure deposits formation tendency of engine oil that can collect in the oil filter.
